Pears with Raspberry Sauce
Ingredients:
1 (10-oz.) pkg. frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed
4 canned pear halves in light syrup, well drained
1 pint La Salle Super Premium Raspberry Sorbet and Cream
Fresh raspberries
Fresh mint leaves
Preparation:
Blend raspberries with syrup until smooth. Pour puree through a fine wire mesh
strainer. Refrigerate raspberry sauce until ready to serve.
Serving:
Poor raspberry sauce onto plate. Carefully make 3-4 vertical cuts thru each
pear and fan them open. Serve 1 pear half on each plate. Place 1 scoop La Salle
Super Premium Raspberry Sorbet and Cream next to each pear. Garnish with fresh
raspberries and fresh mint leaves.
