La Salle Super Premium Ice Cream Fondue

Ingredients:
2 pints (4 cups) La Salle Super Premium Ice Cream, Pick your favorite flavor.
1 (6-oz.) pkg. (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter

Favorite toppings:
Sprinkles
Chopped nuts
Toasted coconut
Crushed or chopped candies

Preparation:
Cover 9-inch pan with foil and spread softened ice cream evenly on it. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 2 to 3 hours or until firm.

Melt chocolate chips and butter in small saucepan over low heat, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and keep stirring until smooth. Place in fondue bowl and keep warm.

Place toppings in small bowls.

Remove ice cream from pan by lifting foil. Allow to stand for 5 minutes or until soft. Cut ice cream into 1-inch cubes, place on chilled serving dish. Freeze until ready to serve. Skewer ice cream cubes and dip into warm chocolate and your favorite toppings.
